Gaurav LUTHRA

Dr. Luthra is Chief, Cataract & Refractive Surgery at Drishti Eye Institute, Dehradun, India. He is also Chair, Scientific Committee, North Zone Ophthalmological Society of India, as well as Vice President of the Intraocular Implant & Refractive Society of India (IIRSI). Dr. Luthra’s special interests include complicated cataract surgery and premium IOLs, laser refractive surgery, and keratoconus. He has been a guest faculty and course instructor for over 10 years at the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery Annual Symposium & Congress, the World Ophthalmology Congress, the Congress of the European Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons, and other international meetings. A recipient of the IIRSI Subodh Agarwal Gold Medal for excellence in cataract surgery in 2013 and the Mohan Lal Gold Medal in 2002, Dr. Luthra has been invited to perform live surgery at over 40 meetings and is passionate about teaching and training fellows in refractive and cataract surgery.
