Dr Andrea Ang is Director of Lions Laser Vision and the Cornea Unit at the Lions Eye Institute, Western Australia. She is Vice President of the Australasian Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons, and is passionate about cataract surgery and surgical innovation, with a particular focus on premium intraocular lenses and laser refractive procedures.
Dr Ang has authored numerous textbook chapters and scientific papers, and presents at national and international conferences, sharing practical insights and emerging advances in her field. A gold medallist in medicine from the University of Western Australia, she was awarded a Fulbright Scholarship to complete a Master of Public Health at Harvard University and undertook corneal and anterior segment subspecialty training at the Cincinnati Eye Institute and Singapore National Eye Centre.
