Dr. Sumalin Trichaiyaporn, MD is a pediatric retina specialist at Queen Sirikit National Institute of Child Health (QSNICH), Bangkok, Thailand, the national children’s hospital and referral center of Thailand. She serves as the Head of the Department of Ophthalmology and is actively involved in the management of complex pediatric cataract and retinal disorders.

Her clinical and academic interests include pediatric cataract surgery, Retinopathy of Prematurity, pediatric vitreoretinal surgery, pediatric visual stimulation and visual rehabilitation. Dr. Sumalin is actively engaged in national and international collaborative projects focusing on pediatric eye care, telemedicine, and long-term visual outcomes in children.
