Anuchit POONYATHALANG

Associate Professor Dr. Anuchit Poonyathalang has volunteered for Princess Mother Medical Volunteers Foundation since he was a third-year resident. Dr. Poonyathalang received the Asia Pacific Academy of Ophthalmology Distinguished Service Award in 2013. He is currently president of the Thailand Manual Small Incision Cataract Surgery Society, president of the Thai Neuro-Ophthalmology Society, and chairperson of the Cataract Surgery Committee of Princess Mother Medical Volunteers Foundation. Since learning Dr. Ruit’s technique from Dr. Sanduk Ruit himself in Nepal, Dr. Poonyathalang has transferred his skills and knowledge to numerous staff members and residents in various institutions.
