Dr. Naris Kitnarong, MD, MBA, is an Associate Professor of Glaucoma at the Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital, Mahidol University, Bangkok, Thailand, and currently serves as Deputy Head of the Department of Ophthalmology. He received his medical degree in 1993 and completed ophthalmology residency training in 1999 at Siriraj Hospital. He completed glaucoma fellowship training at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in 2003, followed by a research fellowship at the Bascom Palmer Eye Institute in 2004 and advanced training at Heidelberg University, Germany, in 2005. He also holds an MBA from Thammasat University. His interests include glaucoma, cataract surgery, angle closure disease, and glaucoma epidemiology. He leads the Siriraj Mobile Cataract Unit under the Vision 20/20 initiative.
