Medical Doctor with an MSc in Evidence-Based Medicine from the University of Oxford and a PhD in Applied Physics (Science and Technology) from the University of Alicante. He is a specialist in Ophthalmology and Anterior Segment Surgery, with a focus on refractive surgery, presbyopia, and cataracts. He is currently the CEO of Qvision and the Medical Director of the Ophthalmology Institute within the Vithas Hospital Group in Andalusia. He is also an elected member of the ESCRS Council and serves as its Executive Secretary. He has published more than 90 scientific papers in international journals.
