Boonchai WANGSUPADILOK

Dr. Boonchai Wangsupadilok graduated from Faculty of Medicine, Prince of Songkla University, Songkhla, Thailand, in 1999 and completing ophthalmology residency training at the same institution in 2004. He completed the Glaucoma Research Fellowship at the New York Eye and Ear Infirmary in 2006, under the directorship of Professor Robert Ritch, M.D. and Professor Jeffrey M Liebmann, M.D.

He currently serves as the director of glaucoma unit, department of ophthalmology, faculty of medicine, Prince of Songkla University. He is also a vice dean for medical informatics department.

Dr. Wangsupadilok is a distinguished glaucoma and cataract lecturer. He was invited to teach and lecture in Thailand and other countries in Asia. He delivered more than 50 lectures at national and international congresses. He performed thousands of cataract surgery procedures and trained many surgeons to perform both cataract and glaucoma surgery.

Dr. Wangsupadilok has current major research interests, includes, angle closure glaucoma, diagnosis of glaucoma, as well as the surgical management of patients with glaucoma and cataract. He published in many domestic literatures and international peer reviewed articles.
