Dr. Poemen Chan is an Associate Professor at the Chinese University of Hong Kong, Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences. To date, he has published 65 papers (H-index 22), 11 textbook chapters, delivered 3 keynote lectures, 50 invited lectures, 70 conference papers, 16 instruction courses, and secured over HKD11.4 million research and teaching grants as a Principal Investigator. He is an invited committee member of the World Glaucoma Association (WGA) Associated Advisory Board, Global Outreach Committee, Education Committee, and a mentor in the WGA mentorship program. He is also a member of the Asia Pacific Glaucoma Society’s associated board and was a section leader and a section author for the APGS 4th edition Guideline.
