Dr Ben LaHood is an ophthalmologist who specialises in cataract and laser refractive surgery. He is a globally recognised researcher, and educator, with his areas of interest focusing on astigmatism management, and toric intraocular lens calculation. Ben is often invited to speak globally and has been recognised in The Ophthalmologist Power List of the top 100 most influential people in the eye world.
Ben is also involved in a number of education initiatives including the advanced trainee day at the Australian Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery congress, and is the host of a number of popular ophthalmic podcasts. Dr LaHood is currently consulting privately at Adelaide Eye & Laser Centre in Adelaide, Australia and has recently launched a cosmetics brand.
