Assistant Professor Phanthipha Wongwai, MD, is a distinguished pediatric ophthalmologist and strabismus specialist based at Srinakarind Hospital, Khon Kaen University. She holds a PhD in clinical science and certifications in pediatric ophthalmology, ocular genetics, and human research protection. Dr. Wongwai serves as the Manager of the Thai Clinical Trial Registration and Deputy Director of the Academic Clinical Research Office. A recognized leader in research ethics, she is a Lead International Surveyor for SIDCER-FERCAP and was named Excellence Ophthalmologist in 2020. Her extensive publications focus on Retinopathy of Prematurity (ROP) and visual impairment. Currently, she directs the Excellence Center for ROP and serves as the FERCAP secretariat.
