Prof. Dr. M. Nazrul Islam is a glaucoma specialist and phaco surgeon, senior consultant at Bangladesh Eye Hospital & Institute. He is the past president of the Bangladesh Society of Cataract & Refractive Surgeons and Bangladesh Glaucoma Society. He is the current President of the Bangladesh Eye Care Society, Chairman of the Board of Management of Jashore Eye Hospital, Executive Board member of the Asia-Pacific Glaucoma Society.
Prof. Islam has authored or co-authored over 70 medical and scientific publications and seven books on eye diagnosis and treatment. He is chief editor of the Journal of the Bangladesh Glaucoma Society. Prof. Islam hosts a website at www.profnazrul.com for patients and junior ophthalmologists.
